OPEN ALL HOURS

Boris Johnson announced that more businesses can reopen on 4 July. It’s fantastic news, but there is a level of concern, too. I’ve always been a big supporter of this government, but I worry that we’re easing lockdown for the sake of our economy, rather than people’s health. If that’s the case, then maybe we shouldn’t have gone into lockdown in the first place! It feels too soon to be making all these changes, but having said that, people do need to get some sense of normality back and many want to work. I pray there isn’t going to be a second spike that’s even worse. Hopefully the virus is slowing to the point where it can be sustained until a vaccine is found. By the way, I’m bloody excited about going out for dinner with Ems on a date night when the restaurants open!
