I LIKE TO CHILL OUT by sitting at home, having a curry with a few beers watching the football. But when we go to bed, I have a pact with my wife Anne that we watch Coronation Street together. Then she normally falls asleep after 10 minutes, so I watch Emmerdale as well.
MY HIDDEN TALENT is gardening. Since lockdown earlier this year, I vowed to have my lawn looking the best it’s ever been for 20 years and I succeeded.
MY BEST FRIENDS are Jeff Stelling and Ben Shephard. I’m very fortunate to have lots of best friends, but they’re the people I speak to more than any others.
SOMETHING ON MY BUCKET LIST is to one day go into the I’m A Celeb jungle – in Australia, I might add! Lack of food and eating bugs doesn’t bother me, but unfortunately it’s on during the football season, so I’m not able to do it.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING I’VE EVER BOUGHT is a car. I used to drive Jags all the time.
MY NICKNAME is Kammy. Everyone calls me it, apart from my wife. She’s the only one who calls me Chris.
MY FAVOURITE TV SHOW is Only Fools And Horses.
THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE was either marrying my wife, my kids being born or my grandkids being born. I’m so lucky that I have achieved everything that I wanted and have had so many best days.
A PROJECT I’M PROUD OF is my albums. I thought I’d do one album and that would be it, but the way it was received was quite amazing, so the record company said, “We’ll go again,” and now we’re talking about future stuff too. I couldn’t be more delighted.
MY MUSICAL HERO is Elton John. All day long. When I was a young boy growing up, I loved the piano. Then Elton’s music came out. Not only was he fantastic, but he’s a football fan of Watford.
IF THE WORLD WAS GOING TO END TOMORROW I’d spend the day with my grandchildren. They’ve filled my life with joy and made my wife and I even closer. We can’t wait to have all three of them over. We constantly look forward to it.
