STEPMUM KATE ‘CRIES IN SECRET’
Kate Ferdinand has shared some wise words about the demands of being stepmum to husband Rio’s children.
The 30-year-old – who has a six-monthold son Cree with the former footballer and has helped him raise Lorenz, 14, Tate,
12, and Tia, 10 – shared a statement on Instagram which read, “A good stepmom is not made, she is built. She is built by the hardships of her role, the tears she cries in secret, and by the lessons, she learns through trial and error.”
It added that “she makes mistakes” and “makes sacrifices others might not be capable of”, before saying, “She learns how to love in so many different ways.
And she gives.”
