The former TOWIE star decides her romance with Jack Padgett doesn’t have a future
She previously declared he was The One, but Ferne Mccann was forced to call it quits with boyfriend Jack Padgett after realising they had no future together, a sources tell new.
“Ferne really loved Jack and they had a great time together,” our source said. “But she realised they were just at different stages. Jack is a bit younger and likes to party. He also works in hospitality. Ferne is over that stage of her life and wants something more stable. It was a heartbreaking decision but she soon realised it wasn’t going to work.”
The former TOWIE star’s romance with Jack was revealed in December when the pair were spotted kissing while on holiday in South Africa. In February, she declared that the model and marketing manager was The One and that he had even moved into the Essex home she shares with her three-year-old daughter Sunday.
Opening up about the romance, Ferne, 31, said, “I’ve made the mistake before of telling my friends that I’ve found The
One and that I’m going to get married. I’ve reined it back and calmed it down, but I feel like he really is The One.
“I’m in that love bubble and I don’t think that’s going to change. He’s honestly changed my life and that’s it now. I’m so grateful.”

TOWIE star say she quickly realised their romance wasn’t going to last outside of lockdown. “They fell in love in lockdown but Ferne realised that that wasn’t real life, it was a bubble. Once life started to get back to normal, she saw how different they were. It’s been a very amicable split and she’s said they’ll stay friends.”
After speaking openly about her desire for another baby, our source says Ferne may now be on the lookout for an older boyfriend.
“Ferne’s so focused on Sunday and would love another baby,” the source claimed. “She’s always said she’d love to grow her family and get married. Jack was a bit younger so she realises now she probably needs to find someone a bit older and more ready for that stage of life.”
