It seems a reunion between Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne is definitely off the cards
Cheryl Tweedy has told ex-boyfriend Liam Payne there’s no going back for the pair after his split from fiancée Maya Henry, a source has claimed.
“Liam has regrets about his actions in the past as it lost him Cheryl. While Liam is very regretful about their failed relationship, there’s no return for Cheryl. Even if he changed his ways there is no going back for her,” the source claimed.
Our source added that Cheryl, 37, who separated from Liam, 27, in 2018, isn’t on the hunt for love, with her focus instead being on their four-year-old son Bear.
“Cheryl is happy being single at the moment. Being in a relationship isn’t a priority for her. She’s putting all her time into being a mum to Bear,” claimed the source.
And it seems she’s also hoping Liam will the do the same. Our source claimed, “Cheryl has told him he needs to buck his ideas up. Liam is hard on himself because he’s got little Bear. Cheryl wants him to be a good role model and to be responsible.
“All Cheryl wants from him is to be a good dad. She wants that to be his priority. She just wants Liam to grow up and be a man.”
The former
One Direction star admitted he’s “not very good at relationships” as he announced his break-up from model Maya, 20, last week. “I feel like more than anything at this point,
I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people,” he said.
Our source claimed, “Liam knows he’s got to get his act together. He doesn’t like the way he acts. It’s like he loses control and he regrets things later. He feels he’s let himself down.
“His girlfriends seem to be a good influence on him, but he finds commitment very hard.”
Meanwhile, as Liam spoke out about his split, Cheryl broke her one-year social media silence last week.
The Fight For This Love singer delighted fans when she wrote, “We back,” alongside two new photos.
