WHAT’S YOUR HIDDEN TALENT?
Well if I told you that, it wouldn’t be a hidden talent, would it? I guess it would have been my punch power but that’s hardly hidden!
WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
Watch the sunrise and the sunset. My schedule is often back-to-back through the day and evening, so I find real peace starting the day by watching the sunrise and stepping away again for sunset. It’s my time – I take stock and recharge.
WHAT WOULD YOUR PLAN B HAVE BEEN?
I never had a plan B, that would be planning for failure. From the age of three, I would tell my family I was going to be World Heavyweight Champion one day, nothing was going to stop me.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR 16-YEAROLD SELF?
Be more present and enjoy the journey of life. Especially as a kid, you’re so focused on the destination, the next age milestone, the next chapter, but enjoy the moment. Be present.
WHAT’S YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION?
I’ve never been someone to be sentimental over objects, so it would probably be photographs and home videos – special moments which have been captured. As a family growing up, we always had a video camera in the house so we have some amazing footage – even from the day I was born!
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED?
As someone who reached the top in their field and went on to make a difference. The latter I’m currently working on.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
Seeing my kids [Cassius, 12, and Sienna, 11] navigate their own way through life and carving their own paths.
WHAT MAKES YOU ANGRY?
People not listening to me when I am trying to help them avoid making a mistake I have made.
IF THE WORLD ENDED TOMORROW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO TODAY?
Fly my loved ones to Costa Rica to watch the final sunset. And dance our way to the next.
