‘ Loads of celebrities slide into my DMS’

-

Hi, Nikita! Why have you decided to join the agency?

When I got cast for Married At First Sight it was a breath of fresh air. Paul was on that show and he’s on this one too. He’s supposed to be a love expert, so I’m hoping he finds me a better match this time.

What would you say you’ve learned from being on Married At First Sight?

I’ve learned to focus on myself because I think a lot of the people in that show were kind of in it for themselves. And believe it or not, I’m very courteous to other people, I’m constantly worried about how they feel. I worry about their wellbeing, while I think a lot of the people didn’t really worry about me. So I’m definitely going to focus on me more, put myself first.

Are you worried people who saw you on MAFS might have the wrong impression of you?

I do think I was a bit of the villain on MAFS and you never got to see any of my good parts. There is a proper, raw emotional side where I’m very affectionate and loving. We literally just got to see the hothead Nikita, ready to flip.

Have you used dating apps?

I’ve downloaded one before and I’ve had a little swipe and stuff but I find it draining as I am quite picky. I could scroll and scroll for a good hour and I’d only swipe left to people I’ll be interested in. And it’s hard because you’re looking at a picture.

Have you ever had a celebrity slide into your DMS?

Yeah, loads – but I’m not naming names! It doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I’ve always been friends with people in the industry. So it’s not a wow factor to me. I don’t care what they do for a living, as long as they’ve got a stable job and a good head on their shoulders. I’d actually rather be with someone not in the public eye because sometimes I feel like, are they with you for a showmance or because they genuinely have feelings for you? I’ve dated people in the public eye but I obviously keep it on the quiet.
