‘Katie is standing by Carl’
As Carl Woods is charged with a public order offence, a source tells new Katie Price is backing her man, no matter what
Katie Price has vowed to stand by her fiancé Carl Woods after his recent brush with the law. Last week he was charged with using abusive or threatening insults or behaviours under section 4 of the Public Order Act.
Carl, who was arrested following an alleged incident in Essex last August, is due to appear in court on March 10. But a source has told new that Katie is adamant it won’t affect their relationship.
“Katie is defiant,” said our source. “She has been saying she will stand by her man no matter what and she’s insisting she won’t give up on him.”
Fans have speculated whether the assault was against Katie, but after the charges were pressed, Carl posted a lengthy Instagram statement in which he insisted he “never attacked” his fiancée.
“No one has said I have been charged with assaulting Katie, or coercive control, because it’s not true,” he said. “I was charged with a public order offence. Me and Katie argued in the street, I used foul language,
I got charged with that – nothing to do with anything else.”
Katie, 43, could be heard in the background saying, “I have never called the police on you, never,” and, “He never ever touched me.”
Although fans have previously expressed concern about their relationship, our source told us Katie is feeling content with Carl and has hit back at any criticism, saying she really wants to make their relationship work.
“Ultimately, she wants to do what she can to make their relationship and future marriage last the test of time,” the source said.
“She doesn’t want to give up after everything and for Carl to become yet another ex statistic. She wants it to work for life and to make her family proud of her and show them she can hold down a relationship. Katie wants to work together with Carl to make each other happy.”
The source added, “She’s promised to be the mother of his children, to be his wife and take his name, which he’s wanted for a long time.”
days before Carl was charged, the couple went out to celebrate his 33rd birthday – and Katie showed off her new look following her latest round of surgery in Belgium.
Before their date night she’d been seen sporting a head bandage and with bruising to her face. But she was all smiles as they visited Sheesh in Essex, the restaurant where they first met – proving she’s back in action.
And according to our source, the mum-of-five is feeling better than ever, and doesn’t care what people say about her appearance.
“despite the backlash, Katie says she has never felt so confident in her life about how she looks,” the source said.
“She couldn’t feel better about the results of her surgery. She has no regrets.
“right now, she doesn’t want any more surgery. She’s content. She feels this is a fresh start to her life with Carl, her children and her career.”
The source added, “She has her spark back and can’t wait for what’s ahead of her. She’s so glad she went ahead with the surgery as it’s made her feel like a new woman.
“Carl is also happy for Katie that she feels confident in herself again, and he’s seen that shine through. He doesn’t want her to have anything else done. He loves her, and enough is enough.”
While it’s thought that Katie underwent an upper eye lift extraction and a second brow lift, she has remained tight-lipped about her procedures, previously telling us, “That’s for me to know and everyone to speculate.”
Hagen Schumacher, consultant plastic surgeon at Adore.life, told new, “Along with her upper eyelid lift, it looks like Katie has also undergone a temporal brow lift which raises the tail end of the eyebrow. Performed well, the outcome can be amazing, but there is a potential for creating a bizarre unnatural appearance.”
He added, “It looks like she has had dermal fillers injected into her cheeks, and also her lips, to add volume and achieve pouting lips.”
