Lana is no stranger to stardom. she has rubbed shoulders with a string of celebs in the past in her role as a make-up artist.

The 25-year-old, who has worked on sets including Hollyoaks and Brassic, has become pals with the likes of jennifer Metcalfe and Michelle keegan – who last week showed her support for Lana ahead of her stint in the villa.

Taking to Instagram stories, actress Michelle, 35, wrote, “so our girl is going into Love Island. Genuinely one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet.”

Lana explains to us, “I’ve spent a lot of time with Michelle and she’s amazing. she’s so beautiful inside and out.”

Michelle isn’t Lana’s only celeb connection, as she previously dated I’m A Celebrity star Owen Warner in 2020. and we can reveal that Owen still works alongside Lana’s mum, who is a script supervisor on Hollyoaks.

after being single “for almost three years”, Lana, who is from Luton, is now hoping she will meet The One – but she admits she can be fussy. “I’ve been with people that haven’t been meant for me,” she reveals. “since then I’ve been really picky about who I go for and who I let into my life.”

Opening up about her last relationship, Lana says she went through “love and heartbreak”. she continues, “We had a bit of a lockdown relationship, which was really lovely. We spent a lot of time together. I think when things started opening up, we both wanted different things. In our case, it happened to be that the timing wasn’t right.

“He wasn’t ready for a serious relationship. Looking back, I probably wasn’t either, and it’s taken me this long to think actually, now I’m ready for it.”

On what she wants, the star, who has also appeared as an extra in Benidorm, adds, “I’m looking for something that’s a bit deeper, something more serious that could turn into something long-term and hopefully a little love story.”
