Thatcham Tornadoes up for award
A THATCHAM football club have been nominated for an award.
Thatcham Tornadoes have been shortlisted for the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire FA Grassroots Club of The Year.
Tornadoes chairman Gareth Hillen said: “To be nominated as one of three clubs for the Berks & Bucks FA Grassroots Club of the Year out of the 600 or so clubs affiliated is a huge honour and it goes without saying we are delighted to hear we made the shortlist.
“This nomination is very much down to the dedication and hard work of all the volunteers, players and parents associated with the club.
“Thatcham Tornadoes would not be the club we are today without our incredibly passionate coaches, past and present, who do their best to ensure as many children as possible have the opportunity to do so in a safe and friendly environment.”
The results will be announced tonight (Thursday).
