Planners discuss station car park
WEST Berkshire Council planners met last night (Wednesday) to scrutinise proposals for a 150space car park at Mortimer railway station.
At present, the station car park can only accommodate up to 20 vehicles at any given time.
This has become a major issue in recent years, as Mortimer has a significant population of commuters.
Many of these are forced to park on a stretch of Grazeley Road when using the station.
