Festive fare at White Hart
IN last week’s Newbury Weekly News we incorrectly stated that The White Hart Inn in Hamstead Marshall was closed until further notice.
We would like to apologise to the staff and customers of The White Hart Inn for this error and we are happy to confirm that the pub is very much open and serving its usual high-quality food and home-brewed real ales.
Owner Stella Coulthurst said: “We’re thrilled we can open again and we are well and truly in the festive spirit.”
Ms Coulthurst and her team have created a magical Christmas atmosphere at The White Hart and are looking forward to celebrating with its customers.
“We have a special December Celebration Menu available until Christmas Eve, and our Christmas quiz is on Thursday December 17, with seasonal trivia and music – great fun for the family and bubble groups.”
Entry to the quiz is £2 per person and the proceeds will be donated to West Berkshire Homeless.
Customers are recommended to book in advance to ensure Covid-19 regulations are followed.
It is then full steam ahead to Christmas Day, when The White Hart Inn will be serving a sumptuous six-course feast.
“After such a challenging year, a special Christmas lunch is a lovely treat for the family,” said Ms Coulthurst.
“We still have some tables left, but we are filling up fast!”
The White Hart Inn is a contemporary country inn, with great food, unique drinks and beautiful location just outside of Newbury.
