A correction to my piece on Sandleford homes

LAST week you kindly published my piece headlined ‘Watership Down: Fact and fiction’.

I would like to add a correction to the statement I made that “there is ample space for 2,000 houses” (which was based the original plan for the entire site), since the current proposal is for 1,350 houses on part of the site and if adequate margins are made to protect ancient woodland, even that lower figure is not possible.
