Laura put her party and career over our rights

I WAS rather alarmed at Laura

Farris’ vote for the PSCP bill, which included removing the right to protest unless the Home Secretary deemed it ‘valid’.

Regardless of whether we agree with a particular protest or not, an individual’s right to do so is the basis of any working democracy and to remove it would be a very large step towards fascism.

As Laura has a background in law, she must have been well aware of the impacts this bill would have and yet supported it anyway, choosing to represent her party and her own career over her constituents’ rights.

These are very frightening times indeed.
