Fourth networking group for women is launched
THE West Berkshire region of the Athena Network, owned and run by Caroline Snowdon, successfully launched its fourth group on Thursday, March 18.
The Newbury East Group launch took place online and was attended by more than 20 professional women from a range of industry sectors including wellbeing, marketing, legal, creative and catering.
The event included focused talks on body language and communication in business and how to network successfully.
Caroline Snowdon said: “In a world that is so online focussed in the current climate, it is important to remember to make the most out of networking opportunities and to keep positive relationships building.
“With an increasing number of women setting up their own business since Covid-19, the support, collaboration and positive vibes that business women bring to the table is invaluable.
“Our members are finding that belonging to a professional networking group is certainly helping to build business opportunities.
“There are still some places available in this new group so we welcome any new enquiries.”
