Cedars Day Nursery and Pre-School

-

CEDARS Day Nursery & Pre-School has opened in Aldermaston.

The Complete Childcare group of nurseries and pre-schools has opened its latest setting – Cedars Day Nursery – in the picturesque village of Aldermaston.

The nursery was previously known as The Cedars School, and has been a focal point of the community for hundreds of years.

Managing director of

Complete Childcare Alec Hodson said: “We’re delighted to see this building open and beginning to register children both from the local area and further afield.

“Having the luxury of all this space, we’re able to dedicate whole areas of the old school building to particular activities, so they’re always accessible for the children.” The new owners are determined to give the nursery an authentic and traditional feel.

The setting has a true village school ethos, with a homely environment.

The nursery is open all year round, cares for children aged from three months to five years and accepts childcare vouchers and payments from the tax-free childcare scheme.

Head of nursery operations at Complete Childcare

Jacqui Szrejder said: “We have received a very warm welcome into the community. “We are delighted to become part of village life and provide education and care for the next generation of students.”

The new nursery’s manager

Jane Ives said: “We are thrilled to give this building a second lease of life in this picturesque village. “You do get the feeling that hundreds of children across the years have loved their time here and we are determined to keep that going.

“With children filling the rooms once more, we’re looking forward to continuing the legacy.”

Complete Childcare runs 15 day nurseries and preschools based in Wokingham, Bracknell, Reading, Aldermaston, Newbury and Banbury.

The group prides itself on its family-friendly features, and the fees are all inclusive, covering not only items such as nappies and milk, but also all meals and great activities such as Boogie Mites, outdoor learning and French lessons.

The Complete Childcare nurseries are long-standing and integrated into their local communities.

They have very close links with parent groups and schools, to ensure when the time comes to join primary school the children are

‘Ready to learn, Ready for life!’.

All the Complete Childcare nurseries stay social and you can find them on Facebook and Instagram.
