Unbeaten Newbury top of Hellenic League table

NEWBURY made it two wins from two and sit top of the Hellenic League Division 2 East table following a 3-0 win over Taplow United on Saturday.

Newbury went ahead half an hour in when George Armstrong scored for the second successive game since signing for the club this summer.

It was 2-0 just before half-time thanks to Terry Paton before second-half substitute Jamie Goddard made it three seven minutes from time.
