Match-funding for Old Library donations
THE Corn Exchange has announced that Englefield Charitable Trust has awarded it £10,000 in match funding, via The Good Exchange, towards the Old Library campaign to create a new arts hub in Newbury.
With support from Greenham Trust, this historic building will become a permanent home to the Corn Exchange Newbury’s creative participation work, which provides a lifeline to many local people; reducing social isolation and loneliness within the community; improving mental health locally; and supporting young people in building confidence and self-esteem.
The match funding appeal is now live and every donation made through The Good Exchange will be matched pound for pound (up to £10,000) by Englefield Charitable Trust – so a donation of £25 means £50 for the Old Library campaign.
The Corn Exchange is now asking everyone to support the Old Library campaign.
Sixty per cent of the fundraising target of £2.6m has been reached, but they still need your support to reach their final goal.
