Town centre award
COLWYN Bay has officially been awarded the Great British High Street award for the coastal category.
David Jones MP was joined by Rob Dix, head of Business and Enterprise at Conwy Council, and Teresa Carnall of Colwyn Bay Chamber of Trade, who accepted the award from Communities Minister Penny Mordaunt.
The judge who assessed Colwyn Bay’s entry, Brigid Simmonds, said the town was setting a great example.
Teresa Carnell said: “I do see this as a stepping stone. It is fantastic for the people responsible to be recognised for their hard work.
