Cou­ple’s phone and in­ter­net line fault

A FAULT with a Mae­nan cou­ple’s phone and broad­band caused by BT Open­reach work has now been re­solved.

Len and Ann Boul­ton’s ser­vice had been dis­rupted for three weeks but was fi­nally re­solved just after the Weekly News went to press on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 3.

A BT Open­reach spokesper­son said: “We can con­firm that our en­gi­neers have suc­cess­fully fixed a fault that ex­isted be­tween the cab­i­net and the ex­change and that ser­vice has now been re­stored to the premises.”

The Boul­tons called the Weekly News when their provider, Sky, ad­vised them to seek re­dress from BT, only for BT to re­fer them back to Sky.
