Village supports Air Ambulance

THE residents of Rowen have shown generous support to Wales Air Ambulance throughout 2014.

They held various events to help the charity raise vital funds, including a trailer with merchandise at the annual Rowen Carnival and a barbeque held by Rowen Community Group, which raised an amazing £800.

Fundraising Manager Lynne Garlick said: “We’re very grateful to the community of Rowen for coming together to support us!

“We rely entirely on donations to raise over £6 million needed to fund our service each year, so the money they raised really is important to us.”
