Junc­tion slip to sec­ond league de­feat this

LLAN­DUDNO Junc­tion failed to build on a promis­ing first half as they suf­fered just their sec­ond league loss of the sea­son last week­end.

The Rail­way­men, who are sec­ond in Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion One, went down 2-0 at Glantraeth.

Junc­tion had the bet­ter of much of the first pe­riod, Mike Lund­strum go­ing close when he hit the bar.

How­ever, after the break the An­gle­sey hosts upped their game and a James Burgess dou­ble saw them to vic­tory.

Junc­tion Re­serves whipped Glan Conwy Re­serves 5-2, Joe Jones (2), Craig Berry, Joe L Jones and Mark Kelly the home scor­ers, Ash- ley Bea­call and Trevor Jones re­ply­ing.

Also in Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion One, Llan­r­wst United were held 1-1 by Llandyrnog United.

Paul Cas­sidy handed the Rw­sters a 78thminute lead, but Billy Holmes lev­elled be­fore the end.

Glan Conwy v Gwalch­mai was called off due to a wa­ter­logged pitch.

In Di­vi­sion Two, Mochdre Sports drew 2-2 at Green­field, Ryan Ja­cobs and Scott Roberts on the mark for the vis­i­tors.

Pen­maen­mawr Phoenix v Bethesda Ath­letic was can­celled due to an unfit sur­face.
