-

LLANDUDNO Junction failed to build on a promising first half as they suffered just their second league loss of the season last weekend.

The Railwaymen, who are second in Welsh Alliance Division One, went down 2-0 at Glantraeth.

Junction had the better of much of the first period, Mike Lundstrum going close when he hit the bar.

However, after the break the Anglesey hosts upped their game and a James Burgess double saw them to victory.

Junction Reserves whipped Glan Conwy Reserves 5-2, Joe Jones (2), Craig Berry, Joe L Jones and Mark Kelly the home scorers, Ash- ley Beacall and Trevor Jones replying.

Also in Welsh Alliance Division One, Llanrwst United were held 1-1 by Llandyrnog United.

Paul Cassidy handed the Rwsters a 78thminute lead, but Billy Holmes levelled before the end.

Glan Conwy v Gwalchmai was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

In Division Two, Mochdre Sports drew 2-2 at Greenfield, Ryan Jacobs and Scott Roberts on the mark for the visitors.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix v Bethesda Athletic was cancelled due to an unfit surface.
