Work on bistro has finally started

-

The planned restaurant has been blighted by consistent delays, increased costs and criticism from local councillors, MPs and the public.

David Jones, MP for Clwyd West, has been a frequent critic of the saga and has accused Conwy Council of “secrecy” over the cost and future of the bistro in the past.

Conwy County

Council granted the project £33,000 in August 2014, with the additional costs attributed to “higher than expected tender prices”.

Bryn Williams has not responded to a request for comment.
