ATALENTED tattooist is turning “disasterpieces” into masterpieces in an eight-part documentary to be aired later this month.

Jay Hutton has been dubbed one of the UK’s three “Tattoo Fixers” featuring in a series of the same name on Channel 4’s sister platform, E4.

The 25-year-old from Abergele learned his craft at New Skin in Belgrano and now runs Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port.

His skills are being put to the test in a pop-up tattoo parlour with a difference, which specialises in fixing and transforming the most extreme tattoo disasters into walking works of art.

Former Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan pupil Jay said the show features some “shocking, emotional and often funny stories” behind people’s bizzare body art.

He said: “While filming the series, I came across some crazy tattoos with even crazier stories behind them, they really are mindblowing.

“I can’t give too much away but I think people will find the series really entertaining, it’s been great fun being a part of it.”

Since opening his own studio in 2012, Jay’s work has been praised by boxing legends, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, and he has fast become hot property for celebrities looking to add new ink.

His latest high profile client was Coronation Street star, Kym Marsh who went to his studio while her son, David, had a geometrical half sleeve.

Jay’s handiwork went viral on Twitter after an impressive back piece featuring Floyd Mayweather received the plaudits of the world champion himself, who shared it with his four million followers.

Tattoo Fixers will be aired on E4 every week from June 23 at 10pm.
