Welsh language fun for kids

-

FAIRIES, ghosts, a king, a farmer...a host of characters await children throughout Wales in a brand new Welsh language theatre production by Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch.

‘Lleuad yn Olau’ is a lively stage adaptation of one of the children’s author T. Llew Jones’s most successful books with performances being held as part of the centenary celebrations of the author’s birth.

The acclaimed show has already played to packed houses at various venues throughout Wales since early June and comes to Anglesey on 9 July.

“This is the perfect way to celebrate the life and work of the king of Welsh children’s writing” according to Jeremy Turner, the show’s director and Arad Goch’s Artistic Director.

“This special show breathes life into T Llew’s fantastic stories and guarantees a hugely theatrical and humorous journey into the realms of fable and suspense” he said.

The show features five performers – Huw Blainey, Ffion Wyn Bowen, Gareth Elis, Owain Llŷr Edwards and Lynwen Haf Roberts.

Tickets for the performance at Theatr Fach, Llangefni are available from Menter Iaith Môn, Neuadd y Dref, Llangefni (01248 725700 sara@ mentemon.com).

They cost £6 with the show starting at 6.30pm and lasting about one hour.
