Donations for the summer fete required - can you help? The following items are required for the stalls: cakes, plants, raffle prizes, bottles, tombola prizes, bric-a-brac & jewellery. If you can help contact the Fundraising Dept on: 01492 873664 or drop off any donations at the Hospice Reception. The St David’s Hospice summer Fete is a popular annual event, which is on Saturday, July 25, in the grounds of the Hospice and promises plenty of fun for all the family. Admission is £1 for adults, 50p for children and gates open from 1pm until 4pm. This year’s fete will feature craft, cakes, book and plants stalls, tombolas and raffles, a choice of delicious refreshments, lots to keep everyone entertained!

Guess Our Bear’s Name and help raise money to fund a St David’s Hospice Nurse. With her friendly face and smart nurse’s uniform, our lovely cuddly teddy bear is only missing one thing – a name! Many thanks to the Llandudno Rugby club for hosting the ‘night at the races’ last weekend and raising £500 for St David’s Hospice.
St David’s Hospice Dawn Walk - the ladies only walk, on Sunday, August 2, follows the coastal path from Conwy to Llandudno (return) taking in the surroundings at such a peaceful hour. Starting at first light, it is a lovely opportunity to walk in memory of a loved one. The registration deadline is Friday, July 24. Entry of £15 includes a Dawn Walk t-shirt, tasty refreshments half way finishing medal. For further information contact and to register contact 01492 873665.
Last year Dragon boat festival was a great success. For lots of fun for all the family, come along to the St David’s Hospice Dragon Boat Festival this Saturday, July 4, 11am onwards. Spectators can enjoy all the colours and excitement watching 40ft long Hong Kong boats racing on Llyn Padarn, Llanberis plus entertainment, bouncy castles, fair rides, food and beer tents on the shoreline. Live bands will be playing from 4pm until 8pm including Chasing Shadows, Martyn Ellis, Rachel May, Kyle Jones and Di Enw.
