Llanrwst Gala set to be better than ever!

LLANRWST Gala will take place this Sunday, July 5, at Gwydir Park and promises to be even better than ever.

As well as a full programme of events, from the car boot at 8am till the Dance Competitions at 4pm, there is a wide range of competitions and activities including Fancy Dress Competitions, for under 5s, 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14 age groups; an art competition for painting or drawing your favourite Conwy Valley landscape scene. Or you could enter a model of your favourite scene in Llanrwst in the 3D model competition; or a photograph of your favourite Llanrwst building or scene in the photography competition. All age groups are as above, with additional prizes for 15-18 years for the art competitions.

Why not enter your dog in the Fun Dog Show starting at 1.30? Or have a donkey ride round the park and a carriage ride?

Other entertainments will be provided by the ever popular Bollywood Dancers and by Clerical Error Morris Dancers, and by the Encore School of Dance and Fight and Flight.

Refreshments will be available all day from 8.30am from the Rotary BBQ.

Don’t miss the Grand Parade which leaves Glasdir car park at 12 noon.
