St David’s Hospice is currently looking for volunteer shop assistants. The position will include; greeting and serving customers in a welcoming manner, assisting in stock management, manning the till and processing sales, displaying items on the shop floor and replenish stock. There will be a charity fashion show on Thursday, October 8, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to St David’s Hospice. Organised by Shop2Drop it starts at 7.30pm at Royal British Legion, Conwy. Silver Star Holidays are organising a two-day coach trip to Yorkshire to support St David’s Hospice. Departing on Thursday, October 22, it will take in the sights of Esholt (where Emmerd- ale Farm was formerly filmed), the historic town of Skipton and also Harrogate.
