Great line-up at charity festival

THIS Saturday, September 26, The Blue Bell Festival takes place in Conwy. This is the second year the pub, which is on the town’s Castle Street, has held the charity festival.

The event in 2014 was a resounding success and raised almost £1,000 for Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospice.

This Saturday’s event is again being held in aid of Tŷ Gobaith, and sees a fantastic line-up of bands and singers performing throughout the day, from 1pm till late.

Gaz Evans, who has put the lineup of performers together for the Blue Bell, will also be playing on the day as part of a duo with Teri Crawford.

Having been involved with music and sound engineerng­ineering since he left school ool in 1997, Gaz, who says his music influences are Johnny Cash, Neilil Young, Queen, Buddy Holly and The Who, has ing at the festival are experience­d and accomplish­ed four piece blues band The Swamp Route Blues Band, singer and songwriter Jak Packham, and AP Cooper who describes his music as gypsy jazz, old blues and alternativ­e folk. Plus there will be music from The Rascals and Graham Davies.

As well as the fantastic line-up of singers and musicians, there will also be a barbecue with delicious food to keep you going throughout the day.

Raffle tickets will be on sale and there will be face painting for the children (and adults).

All in all, it promises to be a great day and night, so come along, listen to some great music, have fun and help raise some much-needed funds for a great charity. Ticke Tickets are priced at £5 each, (children dren’s admission by donation). On Only over 18s aftera 7pm please.p
