CHORAL EVENSONG: A service of Choral Evensong for Harvest will be held at Gwydir Uchaf Chapel, on Sunday Sept 27 at 3pm. using the Book of Common Prayer. The Rev Neil Fairlamb, Rector of Beaumaris, will lead the service, with music provided by Cantamus. The chapel’s plain stone exterior conceals a richly decorated, colourful interior of carved wood with a rare and original painted ceiling. GUIDED WALK: Free guided walk. Start 2pm, Sunday Sept 27 from the LLanrwst Leisure Centre main gate car park. Expected duration 2hrs 30mins. All weather walking kit is advised for open countyside and woodland with some steep sections. Dogs on leashes welcome but owners should bear in mind that there are ladder stiles. Photograph­ers will appreciate the tumbling streams, gorges and panoramic views of the Eryri Range. This walk is a community based Know Your Local Walks project. Phone 01492 641 091 or just turn up.

LLANRWST AND DISTRICT MALE VOICE CHOIR: The choir continues to meet Sundays 7.30pm in the Church Rooms, Watling Street. For informatio­n about the choir’s activities please contact the Hon Sec.
