Joy for Llandudno Under-15s

IN the North Wales League junior cricket finals at Mochdre, Llandudno won their first-ever under-15 title.

Opponents Gresford were 61-1 off 10 overs, but Tudno rallied and eventually limited their opponents to 98-6 from 20, Ethan Hill taking 2-2.

Hill (30 not out), Will Sissons (24) and Keating Hoe-Pike (13 no) made sure Llandudno reached 99-3 to win by seven wickets.

Man of the match Hill, aged just 14, scored an unbeaten 107 for Llandudno’s second team in senior cricket in the same week.

Llandudno Under-13s Northop Hall in their final.

Tudno could only make 67, man of the match Matty Jones top-scoring on 30 retired.

Hall reached their target for the loss of only two wickets.
