Bay prove too strong

COLWYN Bay made it back-to-back wins in Division Two North with a 29-8 verdict at Menai Bridge.

The Anglesey side struck with the first try, but by half time the Bay had secured a bonus point thanks to touchdowns from Michael Harrison (2), man of the match Dan Parry and Sean Thomas, two conversions establishing a 24-8 interval lead.

The second half started with the referee awarding the visitors a penalty for a high tackle, This was quickly taken with Pat Atkinson breaking through two tackles and sending a long pass to Parry, who sprinted 20 metres for the score.

That ended the scoring.
