14 years of outstanding In Bloom success
COLWYN Bay has won the Best Large Town Award in the prestigious Wales in Bloom competition for the fourteenth successive year.
John Woods, Wales in Bloom adjudicator in his report said: “It was a great pleasure to visit Colwyn in Bloom and see so many positive environmental projects in the space of a morning! Very well done on a first class entry that included some exemplary new developments at both Llandrillo yn Rhos School, and Porth Eirias Beach. The bedding seen at Queen’s Gardens was amongst the best seen this summer.”

Apart from ensuring the area is attractive year around, the award provides a welcome boost to the local community and is an additional marketing tool for the Bay Life programme to promote the town for inward investors and visitors.
