Footballing kids kitted out

A NEW under-7s football team will start the season fully kitted out after receiving a donation from a regional housebuilder.

Collingham Football Club was chosen by Persimmon Homes Nottingham to receive a £1,000 donation through its monthly Community Champions scheme. The Panthers have grown over recent years and have registered three under-7s team for the coming season

Neil Follows, managing director of Persimmon Homes Nottingham, said: “Collingham Football Club is doing a wonderful job at helping to keep children active. As we are building at The Heights, off Beacon Hill Road, we expect many of our customers will benefit from the club’s ongoing commitment in the community. “
