GBH arrests after teenager attacked

POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a serious assault on a teenager in West Bridgford.

The attack happened in South Road at about 11.30pm on Thursday, June 21.

Nottingham­shire Police said the victim was in South Road when a car pulled up with four people inside.

Two men got out and assaulted the teenager before leaving the scene in the car. The teenager was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment and was discharged later.

A police spokesman said: “Two men, both aged 24, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They have been released under investigat­ion.

“Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any informatio­n to get in touch, including any motorists with any dash-cam footage of the incident. If you can help, call Nottingham­shire Police on 101 or Crimestopp­ers anonymousl­y on 0800 555 111.”
