Hospital? I put my trust in spirit world!

INCREDIBLY, it does appear that Dr Harold Shipman’s ministrations were not a one-off but part of a systematic policy practised in certain hospitals.

For a person in their 70s to enter hospital with a relatively minor complaint, only to leave hours later in a box is not cricket. Routine wholesale euthanasia is not acceptable and not a suitable policy with which to control costs. There is much we need to be told and reassurance is key.

In the meantime, I am keeping well away and treating myself with the Highland Dew. At 76, it is all I can do. Daniel Farrington Poplar Avenue Sandiacre
