PICK UP A V6 FOR £38,550
THE V6 diesel powered version of the Mercedes-benz X-class pick-up will cost from £38,550 when it arrives in the UK in November.
Powered by a 3.0-litre engine developing 258bhp and with 550Nm of torque, the V6 X-class will be available in double-cab body style and all will be four-wheel-drive with sevenspeed automatic transmission.
It will be available only in top range Power trim with Pure and Progressive grade vehicles now available only with the 220d and 250d engines.
Inside, the X 350d 4MATIC comes with eight-way electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seats, which are heated, as standard.
There’s also a leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles and cruise control, artificial leather and microfiber upholstery, and a leathereffect dashboard with top stitching, with an aluminium interior trim.
The X 350d sits on 18-inch six-twinspoke light-alloy wheels and also comes with heated washer fluid jets.
As well as a full set of driver and passenger airbags and thorax bags, as well as window bags on the front and rear pillars and a driver knee bag, the X 350d 4MATIC also includes Active Lane Keeping Assist, radar-based autonomous emergency braking, Traffic Sign Assist, Hill-start Assist, Downhill Speed Regulation, a Thatcham anti-theft security package and a load securing rail system.
Onboard technology sees the X 350d fitted with a seven-inch high definition screen, rotary controller with touchpad, Bluetooth® audio and media interface, with DAB digital radio and pre-installation for Garmin MAP PILOT included.
