THE actor and his TV presenter son are back in the saddle for another series of the travelogue in which, as the title suggests, they journey around Britain on two wheels, checking out some of the most spectacular cycle routes.
They begin their six-week adventure in Northumberland, which should suit Larry, as he indulges his love of Roman history with a ride along a section of Hadrian’s Wall and a visit to the archaeological dig at Vindolanda, where both Lambs get their hands dirty.
However, self-confessed sceptic Larry spends a night in Chillingham, which claims to be Britain’s most haunted castle. Will a ghost put in an appearance to make him change his mind?

Channel 5, 9pm WE’RE transported back to variety shows from the 90s one last time, with Jane’s series finale. And it starts with a tribute to the days of disco, so prepare for a greater onslaught of sequins than normal.
As usual, Jane wins over the audience with her powerful voice and crowdpleasing sense of humour.
Joining the riot of song and dance tonight are actor-singer Claire Sweeney and X Factor and Dancing On Ice star Ray Quinn.
Plus there is the ‘popera’ legend Russell Watson, and the cast of Summer Holiday: The Musical, currently touring the country and also starring Ray Quinn.
This is old-school fare that has proved a huge hit and will no doubt be back for another series.
