Road death of man, 22, adjourned
AN inquest has been opened into the road death of a 22-year-old man in Nottinghamshire.
The brief hearing yesterday was told that Joshua Cheetham died at Lane End, Kirkby-in-ashfield, on December 22.
Assistant Coroner Fiona Gingell adjourned the matter until May 23, saying that “further enquiries” would be made by then.
She said that Mr Cheetham had been formally identified by his mother Emma Wood, with this information passed to the coroner’s staff.
No other details were given at the hearing in the Council House. No witnesses were present.
Miss Gingell said: “I take this opportunity to express my sincere condolences to Mr Cheetham’s family at this very difficult time.”
Mr Cheetham lived in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
