NOTTINGHAM Forest-linked Siriki Dembele is set to stay with Peterborough United, says Posh’s director of football Barry Fry.

The striker has been attracting interest from a number of clubs, including the Reds.

Fulham are reported to have scouted him five times – including against Ipswich Town at the weekend.

But Fry appeared to shut down any prospects of him leaving this month.

Fry told the Peterborough Telegraph: “Fulham have watched Siriki five times. Brian (Talbot, chief scout) was at the game on Saturday and he sent me a message after the game to say they wouldn’t be making an offer during the current transfer window.

“That’s not to say they won’t be back in the summer when clubs’ finances are clearer.

“There is no money about right now and certainly not enough for us to part with Siriki.

“It’s getting too late in the window now anyway. We wouldn’t have time to get a replacement.”

Rangers, Celtic, Sheffield United and Cardiff City have also been linked with Dembele ahead of next Monday’s 11pm deadline.

Forest remain keen to further strengthen their attacking resources before the transfer window closes.

Fry last week rubbished claims the Reds had made a fresh bid to sign his star man, but said they

NOTTINGHAM Forest have been one of the most televised clubs in the Championship this season.

A total of eight of the Reds’ League games have been picked for live broadcast by Sky Sports.

That works out as 32 percent of all matches and is the joint-fourth most of any other club in the division.

Reading (11 games), Watford (10) and Bournemouth (nine), are the only clubs to have been picked more often.

Rotherham United fans have been left feeling short-changed by their subscription fees though, with only one Millers game televised so far this season.

Wycombe Wanderers and Luton Town have been on screen twice, while Millwall, Huddersfield Town, Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers have had matches televised three times.

Three of Forest’s Championship fixtures for February have been selected for live coverage on Sky.

Their clashes with Derby County, Bournemouth and Rotherham United have all been picked.
