PLAYER RATINGS

-

SAM SLOCOMBE:

Beaten by a penalty and then saw a shot hit the crossbar. But did make a smart save to deny Joel Nouble early in the second half. 6/10

DION KELLY-EVANS:

Up and down the right all night but the final pass in the attacking areas wasn’t quite there. Couldn’t fault his effort though. 6/10

MARK ELLIS:

Got the wrong side of Harrison Panayioutou for the penalty but it should never have been given as the striker ran into him rather than the other way around. A shocking decision. 5/10

BEN TURNER:

Won plenty of aerial challenges, which is his greatest strength, especially when Joel Nouble drifted into the central areas for set-pieces. 5/10

JORDAN BARNETT:

A difficult night for the full-back whose defending was rash up against Nouble. Needs to learn to stay on his feet more. Better in the second half. 5/10

JAKE REEVES:

The midfielder had plenty of the ball but the options were limited in front of him in terms of movement so he often had to play a safe pass. 6/10

JIM O’BRIEN:

The only player who wanted to make a dent with his unselfish running. 7/10

CALVIN MILLER:

Dithered in the build-up to the penalty and he is sometimes guilty of that but he’s still learning the game. 4/10

ELISHA SAM:

Looked more potent when he came over to the right and had a cross which just evaded Kyle Wootton. 4/10

ENZIO BOLDEWIJN:

Struggled to get into the game as he was switched between the left and right flanks but the Dutchman’s final ball was not up to its usual standard. 4/10

KYLE WOOTTON:

Can’t help but feel for him. Deserves a medal for ploughing on like he is. 5/10
