PLAYER RATINGS

-

BRICE SAMBA:

Made very few saves as the defence stood firm, but he lacked accuracy with his kicking and it meant Forest struggled to build from the back. 5/10

DJED SPENCE:

Linked up well with Lolley on the right wing to create attacking chances and opportunities. Enjoyed overlapping down that side and was a useful outlet. 7/10

JOE WORRALL:

Forest’s defence overall was rarely threatened during the 90 minutes. Looked composed at the back but did look shaky when they conceded. 6/10

TOBIAS FIGUEIREDO:

Played between Mckenna and Worrall at the heart of defence and looked composed and comfortable. Was beaten to cross by Smith for Millwall’s goal. 6/10

SCOTT MCKENNA:

Composed at the back. Rarely troubled, in all honesty. Strong in the header and not easily beaten to the ball. 6/10

MAX LOWE:

Enjoyed pushing forward down the left side to create chances. Had never meant to score from his deep cross but will take the credit for it. 7/10

JAMES GARNER:

Strong performance in the first half. Most of Forest’s play went through him and he was quick to get back and defend when needed. 7/10

RYAN YATES:

Often criticised for poor passing but executed quite a few good passes when under pressure. One of a number to look nervous after conceding. 6/10

JOE LOLLEY:

Positive start saw him displaying the Lolley we know, driving at defenders and causing problems. Looked more isolated when Grabban went off but was trying to force things from wide. 6/10

BRENNAN JOHNSON:

Looked bright when utilised but play was often being done through Lolley rather than himself. Came into the game more when Lolley went off and created plenty of chances. 7/10

LEWIS GRABBAN:

Squandered an early chance from Spence’s cross. Carried on after a heavy challenge with Bialkowski but was forced off through injury after 27 minutes. 6/10
