PLAYER RATINGS
BRICE SAMBA:
Will be disappointed to have been beaten at his near post - a sloppy goal to concede. Pulled off a good save to deny Lewis O’brien and keep his team in with a shout. Rating: 6/10
DJED SPENCE:
Earned a big cheer when he bust a gut chasing a seemingly lost cause in the first half, to keep up the pressure on Huddersfield. Made such a difference having him back in the side. Rating: 8/10
JOE WORRALL:
Two big moments either side of half-time could have turned the tide one way or the other. Missed a golden chance to equalise, but was fortunate not to be punished for an error in the second half. Rating: 6/10
SCOTT MCKENNA:
Barely put a foot wrong in a typically solid display. Forest didn’t look their best with a four-man defence, but needs must. Rating: 7/10
JACK COLBACK:
Required to fill in at left-back again. Did well enough, but Forest could have done with him in the centre of the pitch. Rating: 7/10
JAMES GARNER:
Showed some nice touches and not far away with a few efforts at goal. Was one of those nights for most among the Reds side, though. Rating: 5/10
BRAIAN OJEDA:
A fairly quiet performance as he struggled to impose himself on the game. Neat and tidy on the ball, but Forest missed not having a midfield enforcer to break up play. Rating: 6/10
BRENNAN JOHNSON:
Involved in so many positive moments as the Reds peppered their opponents’ goal. Just missing the final touch when it mattered, going close more than once. Rating: 6/10
PHILIP ZINCKERNAGEL:
Crossbar is probably still shaking from his fierce strike in the first half. Had a few opportunities to get on the scoresheet, but couldn’t get his finishing right. Rating: 7/10
XANDE SILVA:
Handed his first start and he certainly grasped the opportunity. A threat throughout. Came close a few times to a goal and constantly looked to open up the visitors. Rating: 8/10
LEWIS GRABBAN:
Made plenty of runs, although didn’t always get his radar right. For all the chances Forest had, few of them fell his way. Rating: 6/10
