PLAYER RATINGS

-

SAM SLOCOMBE:

Much like recent games, he was rarely troubled in the first half as Maidenhead only registered one shot at goal which flew wide of the post. Made a solid save after the break. 6/10

JAYDEN RICHARDSON: Foraged away down the right but touch let him down on some occasions. 6/10

RICHARD BRINDLEY:

Has returned to the centre-back position after a long lay-off but has slotted back in as he if has never been away. So dependable. 7/10

ALEX LACEY:

Very rarely panics which is what you need in games when there is plenty riding on the result. Had an excellent game in the heart of the defence. 7/10

KYLE CAMERON:

Skipper made his first start since returning from injury and showcased why he is so highly rated. Adds so much to Notts’ style with the way he carries the ball out from the back. 6/10

DION KELLY-EVANS:

Plenty of blood and thunder down the left and, like Richardson, added some good width to Notts’ attack. Always puts his bundle in. 6/10

MATT PALMER:

With Notts needing only a point to guarantee a home tie in the playoffs, the former Swindon Town midfielder played with fire in his belly and ice in his mind. 7/10

JIM O’BRIEN:

The popular Scotsman was full of energy and some neat flicks. The best of which was a lovely nutmeg that really should have led to a goal. 6/10

RUBEN RODRIGUES:

Such a wonderful player to watch

and the pass which led to a giltedged chance for Roberts in the first half was levels above the division he is playing in. 8/10

CALLUM ROBERTS:

Could have put the game to bed before half-time having been presented with two brilliant chances. One led to an excellent save by the Maidenhead goalkeeper, the other went agonisingly wide. Had too much class for Maidenhead and won and scored the decisive penalty. 8/10

KYLE WOOTTON:

Had to bustle his way around up front and proved a good foil at times but chances were few and far between for the ex-scunthorpe United forward on what was a quiet afternoon. 6/10
