A PLOT of land in a Nottinghamshire village with the potential to become holiday lets has been put on the market for £1.5 million.

The site in Fiskerton, Nottinghamshire, has six buildings, three of which have planning consent, and is currently on sale.

The land, which has its own access, parking area, and several agricultural buildings, could be used for holiday lets and commercial use, subject to prior notifications and permissions.

The site’s estate agent has said the plot has water and electricity connections, as well as a “ménage of hard standing areas”.

Jess Mitchell, office manager at Southwell-based Gascoines estate agents, said: “We’re excited to present this exclusive opportunity.

“Fiskerton is such a lovely location, and the site has great potential for farm use or commercial development.

“Its sale is rare – especially with planning permission already granted on three of the buildings.”

Building one has been granted planning consent for conversion to a residential dwelling, while the second building has planning consent for a conversion of stable buildings into three holiday lets.

Another structure already has planning consent for prior approval change of use from agricultural building to commercial use, and the other three have had no prior planning applications made.

Jess added: “This piece of land will give potential buyers real flexibility to get creative.

“Whether you’ve always wanted to build your dream house, run a holiday let, or operate a business from an idyllic countryside location – this site offers up so much room for opportunity and is not to be missed.”

The sale does not include the Trent Valley Equestrian Centre, which will continue to be fully operational.
