‘I was so grateful Park was there’

For Emma Anderson, who lives in the East Midlands, Park Christmas Savings was a huge help in a stressful year

-

In 2020 I was made redundant. It meant I had a lot of things to worry about, but at least I knew that I’d still be able to put Christmas presents under the tree for my little boy, no matter what happened.

That’s because I’d been saving with Park, and the money was locked in. It was one thing less to think about and I didn’t even have to consider credit cards or loans. I’m working again now, but I always think about that year and how grateful I was to be part of Park.

You want to give your children the best and to see them happy, but it can be so stressful at the end of the year if you’ve got to find money for Christmas on top of all your usual outgoings. With this scheme, you get total peace of mind knowing that everything is already paid for.

Not being stressed about money means you can enjoy the rest of the Christmas celebrations. This year we’re getting our son his first bike and I’m really looking forward to it. People say Christmas is best for children, but I’ve had my happiest ones as a parent.
