Can we afford to keep spending on this war?

THE war in the Ukraine is, of course, a terrible tragedy, but I just don’t understand how we can afford to keep supplying weapons.

We keep getting told we as a country need to get a grip of our spending, but what if the Ukraine war goes on and on?
