Man in court over stab killing case

A COURT case involving a man from Lenton accused of murder has been mentioned before a judge.

The alleged matter against Rudi Marriott, 28, of Cloister Street, was listed at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday.

Judge Nirmal Shant was given an update on the case which remains listed for trial on January 9. She adjourned for a further hearing on December 12.

The case comes after Nottinghamshire Police were called to Cloister Street, in Lenton, at 11.09am on Friday, August 5.

Brenton Marriott, 58, died after suffering stab wounds.
