Women faced with huge pensions gap

The pension gender gap is huge with the average man aged 65 to 74 having over £250,000 of pension assets, compared to less than £150,000 for the average woman.

The annual Scottish Widows Women and Retirement reports also reveals that almost two out of three women fear they will run out of money in retirement and, alarmingly, one in five younger women in their 30s says they are saving nothing towards their older age.
