He will also face two times Scottish Strongest Man “Highland Zeus” Louis Jack, Ireland’s Matthew “The Real” Mccoy and, ready to roar, Wales’s champ the Raptor David Ramplee. Celebrating 20 years of the greatest strength show, this show is one not to be missed. Organisers are pulling out all the stops to metaphorically blow the roof off - with former football presenter Chris Kamara hosting. Glenn Ross, from event organiser Ultimate Strongman, said there are plenty of reasons to attend: “It is going to be a showcase that’s going to blow your mind, fire, excitement, action, power tested to the extreme, family entertainment from start to finish. “We have designed new disciplines never seen before to test every part of the athlete’s body and all the old favourites are back. It is going to be a great competition.” Speaking about the Channel 5 coverage, he said: “We ran a pilot in 2004 at midnight and got half a million viewers, now we have five prime-time programmes for the shows.”
